After a tough first day the Flyers rebounded with two big shutouts against Pelham and Whitby to advance to the semi finals against Caledonia. The semi final turned out to be a nail biter that went to overtime after both teams managed to score 1 goal each. Early in the overtime a bad bounce cost the Flyers a trip to the finals. Despite the tough loss the tournament was a great success for the team as we move forward to the second half of the season. Our boys played with tremendous heart and should be very proud. Great job Flyers!!

After a previous loss and a tie, the Flyers went to the garden city and picked up a big 6-3 victory over the Falcons. The whole team chipped in with 6 different players scoring a goal, and Holden having another solid game in net. Congrats to Noah and Weston for picking up their first goals of the season.
Way to go Flyers, lets keep up the momentum.

The Flyers played a great game all around to battle to a 2-2 tie with the Welland Tigers on November 27th at home. Goalie Holden Dean shut down several attempts by Welland to keep us in the game including a couple of "Highlight of the Night" saves! Way to go Holden! Chase McConnery stayed hot netting both goals for the Flyers. St Catharines Falcons next weekend.

In an exciting game against the St Catharines Falcons the Flyers skated to a 4-4 tie. The Falcons tied it up with less than a minute to play but the Flyers clearly dominated play in this game with several near misses and a couple of shots off the post!!! Jesse Russell hustled on defense and also earned his first goal of the season on a break away. Way to go Jesse!!

The Tyke ND Flyers traveled to Grimsby Sunday October 30 and came away with their first win of the season with a hard fought 2-1 victory. Chase McConnery scored his second goal and Jager Carter netted his first of the season with a sweet move! Holden Dean was steady for the Flyers between the pipes stopping several good chances.
Great work Team!!
