Peter Mancuso grew up on the baseball fields in Niagara Falls.  His personal career consisted of many accomplishments.   He played Senior “A” hardball for the Niagara Falls Ford Champions in 1953.  Peter took his talents to the Borden’s Dairy Industrial Fastball League and played on the Daw’s Sheet Metal Team that won the “All -Ontario “Intermediate Championship in 1961.

Most of Peters baseball accomplishments came while coaching or managing.  He was associated with many T-ball to Senior teams over a forty year period.  In 1996, the GNBA honoured Peter with a lifetime membership for his dedication to their organization.

Baseball only kept Peter busy for the summer months.  He spent many winters with the Stamford and Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Associations as a coach.  He enjoyed teaching young children the skills which he learned while playing the sport himself.

Peter was involved with hockey in Niagara Falls for the better part of thirty years.  He was an active executive member of the Niagara Falls Jr “B” Canucks.  He was a Convenor for the Atom and Peewee divisions for the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association and was named a lifetime member.

His contribution to sport made a significant difference to the youth in our city.

When people ask where's Pete? ....we say at The Rink.
