Assistant Coach Marcus Quinlin Bio
Marcus Quinlin has been appointed assistant coach of the Niagara Falls Flyer’s Major Midget Hockey club for the 2018-2019 seasons. 

Marcus has over 20+ years of hockey experience. I grew up playing “AAA” hockey in Niagara Falls with the successful 1991's Niagara Falls Thunder. Drafted by the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL in 2007 and played 5 years of both Jr. B and Jr. A hockey. He played Jr. B in the GOJHL for the Fort Erie Meteors, Port Colborne Pirates, and Niagara Falls Canucks. In the GOJHL, I was nominated for defencemen of the year in 2011 and also played Jr. A. in the OJHL for the Collingwood Blues.

After five Jr hockey seasons, I was recruited to play USports Canadian University Hockey (formerly CIS) for the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC). .At RMC, I was a three-time Governor General CIS Academic All-Canadian. These awards are given to Canadian University Varsity Athletes who maintain an above 80% average for the scholastic academic year.
A graduate from RMC in 2017 with a BA Joint Honours Economics and Business Degree and obtained the RMC Economics Medal for achieving the highest in graduating academic mark in the program.
His coaching experience includes Niagara Falls Peewee hockey Select team in 2012 and was an assistant coach for various Niagara Falls Midget House league baseball teams from 2014-2016. Also, I was the head Instructor for the "RMC Paladins hockey camp" in Kingston from 2013-2015 and as a hockey skills instructor at the “Stamford Hockey School” in Niagara Falls.
