Novice, 2017-2018 (Niagara Falls Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to the Novice HL Kings after defeating the Stars 5-4 in our League Finals played on March 7, 2018.  Both teams contributed to a very exciting final!  The Novice HL Kings finished 4th overall in the regular season and then found their stride during an amazing playoff run to which they went 2-0-1 through the round robin portion of our playoffs!  Although the Stars played a great game, the Kings were able to come away with the win scoring the go ahead goal with only 3:04 left in the 3rd period.

This year's playoffs will be a 3 game minimum round robin format based on seeding from our regular season with the top 2 teams during the round robin advancing to our Novice HL Finals! ALL Novice HL Teams will have their pictures taken on Saturday October 28, 2017 prior to your scheduled games.

The Niagara Riverhawks Jr. C Hockey Team hosted a Minor Hockey night on Thursday October 5, 2017. This year's event was quite successful with many of our leagues players and families in attendance.  In addition to our players watching the game, the Riverhawks also extended an invitation for members of our Novice HL to also participate in a mini game during the first intermission.
