Registration for 2022-2023 Travel Tryouts is now open!

Tryouts for the U14 to U16 age groups will begin the week of May 2nd and run until May 15th.  Please click here for full schedule

Tryout Registration

Registration for tryouts is online, payable by Visa or Mastercard. (We do not accept cash, cheque or e-transfer)

The fee for tryouts is $155.00 (non-refundable and non-transferable).

**Tryout registration must be completed online before the first skate**

Non-Resident Players (U12 and older)

Your NRP Passport is required at time of registration.  Please contact your home cent for details.  Non-Resident Players will not be permitted on the ice without valid paperwork. 

Paperwork must be received by the NFMHA Registrar prior to the first tryout.  Coaches will not accept registrations or paperwork.


U14, U15 and U16 Tryouts

Tryouts for the U14 to U16 age groups will begin the week of May 2nd and run until May 15th.

AA – May 2nd-8th.  

A – May 9th-15th.

All players must try out at the “AA” level.  If the players is unsuccessful, they are to report to the first scheduled “A” try out.  If a player is offered a spot on a AA team and turns it down, they will be ineligible to attend “A” try outs.

 

U10-U13 and U18 Tryouts

Tryouts for the U10 to U13 age groups will begin the week of September 6th and run until October 1st.  This will include all pre-skates, evaluations and exhibition games as required to meet Hockey Canada Player Pathways.

Tryouts for the U18 age group will begin the week of September 17th.

All players must try out at the “AA” level.  If the players is unsuccessful, they are to report to the first scheduled “A” try out.  If a player is offered a spot on a AA team and turns it down, they will be ineligible to attend “A” try outs.

Evaluations for U8 & U9 MD

Evaluation sessions for U8 and U9 will be held in September.  Cost and schedules will be posted in late August to allow the Association to adjust programming as needed to align with the most recent OMHA and Hockey Canada requirements.
