Welcome to the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association Tournament Page.  Below you will find a complete listing of our 2014 & 2015 tournaments which will be followed by all pertinent information and particulars on payment, venue, accommodations, and refund policy.  

Registration for all of our tournaments is completed online.  The specific registration link for each tournament is found immediately following its’ description.

THE NIAGARA FALLS EARLY BIRD TOURNAMENT

September 5 – 7, 2014
Cost $1,050.00
Registration Deadline:  August 1, 2014

Sanction Number – 7766609

This season we have changed up our annual Early Bird Tournament.  We will be accepting ten (10) teams each in the Minor Bantam AA, Major Bantam AA, and Minor Midget AA categories.  Teams are guaranteed 4 games and all games are 10-10-15 stop time.

THE NFMHA NOVEMBER CHALLENGE

November 7 – 9, 2014
Cost $850.00

New this season, we will be hosting our NFMHA November Challenge.
 
We will be accepting twelve (12) teams each in the following divisions; Novice A & AA, Minor Atom A & AA, Atom A & AA, Minor Peewee A & AA, Peewee A & AA, Atom AE, and Peewee AE.

THE AL BOONE MEMORIAL HL CLASSIC

December 27 – 30, 2014
Cost $650.00
Registration Deadline:  November 11, 2014

Named after former NFMHA President, Al Boone; Sixteen (16) teams will be accepted in each division from Novice through Midget.  Teams are guaranteed 3 games and all games are 10-10-10 stop time.

Novice through Peewee will be playing December 27, 28, and finishing on the 29th.  
Bantam and Midget teams will be playing the 28, 29, and finishing on the 30th.

*This is a No-Hit Tournament for House League teams only.  NO select teams may participate.

THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS PEEWEE TOURNAMENT

January 2 – 4, 2015
Cost $1,175.00

We will be accepting ten (10) teams each in the Minor Peewee AAA and Major Peewee AAA categories.  Teams are guaranteed 4 games and all games are 10-10-15 stop time.

THE ANGE GIAJNORIO MEMORIAL MARCH BREAK TOURNAMENT

March 16 – 22, 2015
Registration Deadline:  February 14, 2015

Sanction Number – 7719022

This annual Memorial Tournament remembering our long time dedicated volunteer, Ange Giajnorio, will be hosting teams from House and Select.

For our Select portion (March 16-19), we will be accepting sixty (60) teams in five (5) divisions from Novice to Midget.  There will be twelve (12) teams per division.  Novice through Peewee will play Monday through Wednesday while the Bantam and Midget divisions will play Tuesday through Thursday.

The cost per Select Team is $700.00.

For our House League portion (March 20-22), we will be accepting sixty (60) teams in five (5) divisions from Novice to Midget.  There will be twelve (12) teams per division.  All house league divisions will play Friday through Sunday.  

The cost per House League team is $650.00

PARTICULARS AND PERTINENT INFORMATION

We will accept teams on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Late registrations will be placed on a cancellation waiting list.  The tournament reserves the right to reject any entry.  A team is accepted only when payment is received and an email stating acceptance is received by the registrant.  DO NOT REGISTER ONLINE MORE THAN ONCE.

When registering, please pay attention to the division in which you have registered. Make sure you have chosen the correct division. If you have made a mistake please notify the Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Office immediately. Refunds will not be issued to teams who registered in the wrong division.
   
The Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association accepts online credit card and cheque payments.  If you are sending a cheque in any method that requires a signature, please address the envelope as follows;

Please remember a team will only be accepted once payment has been received by the NFMHA.  

All tournaments will be held at The Gale Centre, 4171 Fourth Ave., Niagara Falls, ON. L2E 0A2.  Tournament Headquarters are located on the main level of the complex.

An Approved Roster from your governing body must be handed in at time of registration.  All non-OMHA teams must also present an approved travel permit from their Association.  A travel permit is not required for OMHA teams; however, the OMHA requires a letter of permission from your Association.  (If it is more convenient, a Travel Permit will be accepted in its’ place.)  Teams without this documentation will not be permitted to play.
 
United States teams must provide a letter of permission AND a validated team list from the branch of USA Hockey with which they are registered.


Refund Information

Teams withdrawing will be refunded 50% of their entry fee only IF the entered category is filled. No entry fees will be refunded if the category applied for has a vacancy at the start of the tournament. Refunds will be issued two weeks after tournament completion and subject to an administrative fee.

Scheduling

Schedules will be available closer to the Tournament dates.  Upon completion, they will be posted on our website.  A notification email will be sent to the team contact.

Accomodation Information

The Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association is pleased to be working with Hudson Travel Group (HTG).  HTG will once again be providing complete travel and accommodation services.  The success of our tournaments relies heavily on the combination of great volunteers and the partnerships established with our sponsors.   Hudson Travel Group is the exclusive travel partner for all tournaments hosted by Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Association.  

One of the criteria of acceptance into our tournaments will be that your hotel accommodations have been secured through Hudson Travel Group.  By accepting the Terms and Conditions, all participants of Niagara Falls Minor Hockey Tournaments agree to use HTG for all accommodation services.

Please be advised that only those hotels listed are approved by Hudson Travel Group.  Negotiations between teams at other properties will not be accepted.

They have blocks put aside at all the participating host hotels, so be sure to contact them early and secure your spot.
